"Not usually one for female lead singers, but [Elle's] lower register is killer. [Glitter Freeze] rips off Lady Gaga's head and sh*ts down her neck." - whiskychaser

Bio
Glitter Freeze's 24-year-old singer/bassist Heather Elle writes songs that are melodic, catchy, and familiar - as if you just turned on your radio to a 70's/80's New Wave station. She wants to take listeners back in time, just as she wishes she could go herself. Her influences range from older acts like The Cure, The Jam, and The Beatles to newer acts such as The Libertines, The Killers, and The Cribs. Elle's songwriting mimics her personality - tough yet vulnerable - trying to find that perfect balance between gritty guitars and gentle synthesizers, powerful drum beats and smooth baselines. She officially formed the band in the summer of 2010; however, it took two long years, four guitarists, two drummers for her to find Jan Jurgielewicz IV (drums) and Cisco Ferreiro (guitar) on New York City's Craigslist. As of January 2012, the band played nearly 50 shows anywhere and everywhere - from grimy basement bars and local festivals to variety shows and online broadcast. They are currently writing for their second EP, to be released early next year.
