Bio
The electronic rock duo Glitch Cake performs regularly at the East Village venue Nublu, and has performed at SPLICE Electronic Music Showcase, The Trash Bar, The Delancey, and Harvestworks Digital Media Arts Center in New York to name a few. Drummer Poyraz Aldemir grew up in Turkey, and the band played abroad this last March at music venues in Poyraz's hometown in Izmir, including established rock music venue Rock n' Beer. Glitch Cake was featured in Turkey's Jazz Dergisi (Jazz Magazine)'s January 2014 Issue and by Joel Freimark of The Daily Guru. Singer/electronic music producer Kat Tingum has a background in digital media art, and draws aspects of her work into the band's live performances.
