"The GAD? presentations went great! Everyone loved having all three guys here. Their group dynamic is uniquely fabulous and allows nearly everyone in the audience to relate to at least one of them. The documentary was very well received and a fellow student told me it was the most meaningful LEAD event she had been to all year - which is a really big deal. They were fantastic and it was great to see them again. Thanks for your work in bringing them here!"
-Kristen, William Woods University
Give A Damn? is a feature length documentary about three friends, two idealistic activists and one skeptic, attempting to live in poverty, on $1.25 a day, across 3 continents. The adventure takes a devastating turn when two of them survive a deadly plane crash in Africa, and all three must fight to finish what they started.
The film was recently selected as Best Documentary at the Saint Louis Filmmakers Showcase and will be seen at the St. Louis International Film Festival. Give a Damn? is also an official selection at the Heartland Film Festival.
Currently, Dan Parris, Rob Lehr, and David Peterka are traveling the country, hosting screenings of the film and giving presentations about turning apathy into action. Their lecture, "Will the Next Generation Fight Injustice?" is about empowering young people to make a difference in the world.
