founding members jean yaste and amanda hallquist live a block away from eachother in the mission district. brought together by the all girl moped gang known as the lockits, they became fast friends and were soon waxing farfisa songs and elderflower cocktails late into the evening. one night jean's bed turned into a boat and heartshape was born. since then situations have transpired, taken different turns, bad seeds and landslides have shifted the conceptual mindscape...but adaptive by design this pirate ship
