...there is something here. It’s not just that the band write and perform in English – and, as the name might suggest, with something of a social conscience. This is a world away from Europap, though there is a nod to a former Eurovision-winning band, in a cover of Abba’s Name of the game. That’s quite a brave move. Future Plant does enough to make this very much its own version of the song, rather than a tribute cover. The other 11 tracks are all self-penned. The layering of the music has hints of acid jazz about it, but the defining characteristic of the songs is Gergely’s quite deep and always interesting voice. - Robin Marshall

Future Plant’s members are levelheaded; curious but critical. This grouping of individuals brings with it an almost unlimited source of energy that feeds their creativity. It stems from their devotion to find new ways in music through exciting experiments.
