Bio
Colorado's Full Belly seamlessly blends rock, reggae, jazz and funk, creating all American music with depth and soul!
Full Belly's EP cd was licensed to MTV/Bunim-Murray Productions for The Real World, Road Rules and All-Star Challenge. Full Belly is featured on episode 16 of MTV's The Real World Denver performing the original Full Belly song, "New Voice". Songs from the Full Belly EP recording are also featured in the 2004 American Outback Filmworks independent film, "'92 Cool"!
Bringing together musical influences from around the world and across the nation, the members of Full Belly combine sounds from the swampy south, dusty midwest, east and west coasts to formulate their "groove induced" sounds. The fret board wizardry of Chris Connolly add to the bottom line of ever impressive bass work of Kevin Welch to create a sound as exciting as it is solid. On the drums, Kevin Herrington is the man with the plan; always seeking out fresh beats and meters from a diverse array of musical genres. On keys, Lance Lewallen lays downs the groove with the soulful sounds of the Fender Rhodes. Paul "Slater P" Stadler has played saxophone all over the world and continues to hone his craft with Full Belly. These elements combined with the lyrical stylings and rhythm guitar of Stephen Herrington, result in a diverse sound for a diverse audience.
Through excellent vocal harmonies and tight arrangements, the members of Full Belly seek to capitalize on their love for a variety of musical styles. This wide range of musical sounds provide a flavor of music to satisfy even the most discriminate musical tastes. Full Belly has graced the stages of top Colorado venues, clubs and breweries throughout the state.
Currently working on their first full length studio recording, Full Belly continues to spread the news about their unique "Groove Induced" music. Keep your eyes and ears open for Full Belly...... "Groove Induced Music for the Mind, Body and Soul!"
