Frenemy had an equally powerful performance, as they offered a completely different style and sound. These guys brought that new-school heavy punk vibe to the stage with their heavy vocals and mosh pit energy. Their were screaming girls and bodies jumping around throughout their entire performance, especially when they brought out a larger than life handmade “Halloween dick” that got thrown around in the crowd. - The Heavy Press

We have a winner, boys and girls. And it's about time. For a while there, I was beginning to lose hope that there were any good unknown bands left out there. But these punky metalheads (or are they metal- loving punks?) from Brampton have restored my faith -- and proven once again that you can't go wrong with an unhinged singer, some gleefully demented lyrics about killing your friends, a few guitars that are as sharp and mean as glass shards and freewheeling songs that sound like they might self-destruct at any moment.
3.5 stars
VERDICT: "Besties." - The Toronto Sun

Bio
Right out of the gritty streets of Brampton comes Frenemy, a band who's every song is the equivalent of a shot of adrenaline. Formed from the remains of several bands, Frenemy mutilates the supposed-to-be sounds of punk, metal and rock to ultimately come out with a fresh sound of raw chaotic energy. Having opened for legendary punk bands like The Forgotten Rebels and The Misfits, as well as receiving praise from The Toronto Sun as one of the greatest local bands heard, Frenemy is ready to kick it into gear.
