"Frankie Whyte & The Dead Idols have really captured the essence of what rock & roll music used to be about and they've brought back that feeling that seems to be missing in rock music today."

"After a relatively short time on the local scene, this Toronto based foursome is much beloved when playing live for very good reason. The focus on performance rather than a crass and cynical "units sold" approach to marketing is refreshing. Their general attitude towards music alone justifies the following they are developing."
- Jason Baker/TorontoMusicScene.com - Toronto Music Scene
"Think Motley Crue and Joan Jett mashed up together, Frankie Whyte and the Dead Idols are bringing back the glorious 80s L.A. metal back - whether you like it or not."

Bio
Toronto's own rock n' roll misfit explosion band, Frankie Whyte & The Dead Idols, are upholding the tradition of big amps and even bigger rock shows. This power quartet may be young but they are hardly intimidated by the road ahead of them. Show by show, fan by fan, FW & DI are earning their stripes the old fashion way. By encouraging old school rock n' roll 'tude, the gang of rock fists grows thick and it grows across the country with Frankie Whyte heading the brigade.
With Duncan Coutts of Our Lady Peace as producer, Frankie Whyte and the Dead Idols created a slew of red hot recordings and have unleashed the first 5 tunes on an EP titled, "Hollywood Ending" under FortyBySixty Records. A road bent, rock n' roll band, FW & DI is goin' for gold and it's all in the name of rock.
