Los Angeles indie alt rock artist Fox Fagan, a native of Australia, catches many people's attention with his upbeat pop rock and intriguing lyrics. The EP, which has been added to playlists of more than 50 college and non commercial radio stations across the U.S and Canada, features Fagan’s tasty brand of indie pop and a British swagger reminiscent of the old English punk rockers.
At times, Fox Fagan sounds a tiny bit like the old Arctic Monkeys, most especially on the song "Wouldn't Change A Thing," clearly one of the best tracks from his Never Fall in Love with a Stranger EP, available for free at NoisyNeighbors.com. Other songs like "Shelia" are reminiscent of 70's AM pop radio. Again, another original talent that most people will never know about, and that's that we do this.

Come on down to Nuno’s to hear some stellar tunes from Australias own Fox Fagan! It may be just him on stage but this guy know how to own it!
His voice is perfection and he’ll have you singing his tunes long after you leave!
If you hurry you can catch the majority of his set…a.k.a he jus started so get yur ass down here! Come by the back right table, find Alex, let me know what you think of the tunes you hear, and we’ll get your opinions up on our blog. Right now you can catch a tune about relationships gone wrong and break ups that seem to be never ending. Fox wrote this song after a buddy of his broke up with a girl that took a heavy toll on him. Fox, being the friend he is, went on a week-long drinking binge with his friend…for sympathy of course…and this song was the result. Check out ”Brothers” on iTunes now!
If you have a free second try to check out Fox’s myspace or look him up on iTunes because he is definitely one to watch at this year’s festival.
Fox’s set is only getting better as it progresses. A mellow moody tune called ”Going Under” was just played. I would definitel recommend it if you like RadioHead, Butch Walker or The Early November.
If you missed his set this afternoon, you can catch him again on Saturday at noon over at the Thirsty Nickel! - Red Gorilla Music / Word Press
Fox Fagan ....Never Fall in Love With a Stranger''
Label: T.O.T.I. Genre: Throwback pop.
My take: With the current state of musical hybrids like hip-pop and trip-hop, post-rock and proto-grunge, I often long for a pure and simple album laced with perfect three-minute ditties. Question: Where are the songcrafters and musical historians? Answer: England. More specifically the flat where the gentleman Fox Fagan is staying. Armed with a litany of '60s melodies, Elvis Costello swagger and Marshall Crenshaw charm, the good Mr. Fagan seems to want only to ease my troubled mind. Realizing that art doesn't need to be difficult or incomprehensible (I'm looking at you, Pere Ubu) Fagan crafted an EP full of bouncy hooks, tantalizing guitar. - Kalamazoo Gazette

Bio
In support of the debut EP "Never Fall In Love With A Stranger", Fox Fagan has performed extensively in Los Angeles and toured the East Coast of the U.S. from Florida to New York gracing the stage at venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, Eddies Attic and the illustrious and somewhat treacherous, Churchills Pub. The EP which has been added to over 50 college & non commercial radio stations across the U.S and Canada, and most recently had the #1 tune on influential blog Indie Rock Cafe with "Wouldn't Change A Thing", features Fagans tasty brand of indie pop and a British swagger reminiscent of the old English punk rockers. This sound, Fagan credits to the method of recording live and never in more than a few takes in order to capture the real energy of a musician and retain the essence of the art.
