Bio

FNJB is good original music. Our songs are all over the board from crashing the Allman Brothers into a ska pit influenced "Pretty Girls (Are So Cute When They Cry)" our Blind Melon influenced "Her Boy" to New Orleans influenced "So Beautiful" or chaos influenced "She's A Fool" and anthem rocker "Daddy I Never" FNJB music is original in flavor and content and fun to groove along with. Front man singer/songwriter Tom Walsh is a trained professional with roots sprouting early in life, being fertilized to maturity at Dick Grove School of Music and CSUN, blossoming into many years of teaching guitar anf finally bringing forth the songs shaped and performed by FNJB... The rhythm section consists of spectacular guitarist Robert Lerch, owner of Stage 1 Music a rehearsal studio and music school in Simi Valley who has been a hired gun in many LA/SoCal bands; drummer Rick Swigert from New Mexico bringing much of the swagger to the band, keyboardist Steve Potter originally from Cleveland Ohio who came to LA in the early 70's to make music, and bassist Greg Clark the organizer of FNJB. FNJB has been together for almost five years, getting together nearly every Friday night to eat Chi Chi's Pizza and make strange and wonderful music. The original FNJB lineup were all friends of Jimmy K and Bill W. We have stayed true to our roots in that respect. What makes FNJB special is we are just happy to be playing in the band. We are nice guys, easy to get along with and strange enough to make just about everybody smile and shake their head.
