The magic of Flowtastic was invoked last year (2008) when two friends met up in a cellar studio. Rap sessions in the cellar began on a light note, without any bigger plans. Everything changed after the Beats & Sounds hiphop and r’ n’ b review, in which the group was successful right up to the finale.
Flowtastic was noticed in the Helsinki metropolitan area, and gig dates started pouring in steadily. Nowadays this multicultural group consists of two members (Rickyboy & Quincy Valentine) who rap in English and have been praised for their energetic performances across Finland.
After a succesful three years of making performances in all the major events in Finland and releasing praised singles after another the duo is now taking the next stop for an international breakthough by releasing an international album for next year (2012).
Flowtastic aims on taking the Scandinavian sound around the globe and introducing the world with a unique sounds of hiphop.
