Flat Nose Diesel Bus creates timeless original music that pays tribute to the masters of the Jam/Rock scene...Grateful Dead, Phish, Allman Brothers, Widespread Panic and Frank Zappa...as they embrace the new school…Dave Matthews Band, Conspirator, Disco Biscuits, Umphree’s McGee, and String Cheese Incident. Word is spreading and the critics all agree…Flat Nose Diesel Bus is making music that is ‘big in substance’, has ‘well crafted lyrics’, is ‘long on catchy hooks’, features ‘gigantic jams’ and can keep a room ‘bumping all night long’. To rave reviews, FNDB has recently completed a residency at the fabled Nectar’s in Burlington, VT and have already headlined Burlington's Higher Ground twice in 2012. The band has just been added to the line up of several summer festivals including the 2012 StrangeCreek Music Festival. Currently, the band is in the studio working on their new CD with producer Matt Wilcox (SouLive, The Roots, John Scofield, Kudu, Steven Mark, Baba) which is due out in June 2012.
