Her music is described as “Inspirational, Soulful, Funky, and Sensual” and after listening to her disc, INDIGO, I would have to agree. She has a world sound that ranges from R&B to calypso to reggae and it seems as if she does so in an effortless fashion. The blend of tunes with various influences transition smoothly from one track to the next in this album. The 11 tracks on this project were all notable, but my favorites include: Send Out The Love, which was a melancholy tune that stays with you long after the music has ended. - The Valley Beat by Alfonso Todd

Felicia Rose/Deep Elevation Music has a sound that is ancient yet way ahead of it's time.
Felicia has a voice so powerful, with a 4 octave vocal range, she glides from low to high and takes the whole audience on a wild journey of sound!
Passion bursting from every ounce of her being, Felicia comes alive on stage and is known for dancing samba while playing strong, versatile rhythm guitar. With spoken word woven into her songs, she can bring a dancing crowd to a still, silent place.
With percussionist Petro Bass, the talent and passion rises with the chemistry of the these two musicians on stage. Petro pounds out intricate rhythms on his unique instruments. The Moroccan quad, Udu, east Indian Khol drum, along with bongos, and congas. Petro's talent stops other drummers and percussionists in their tracks!
Phill Fest, son of Manfredo Fest (Bossa Nova jazz legend from Brazil), graces the band with his amazing lead guitar.
Depending on size of show, the talented Chris Fellows lends his gift of electric violin to the group.
These sounds intrigue the coffeehouse crowds and rock main stage music festivals!
Inspired by the great female vocalists of American culture, like Whitney Houston, Sarah McLachlan, Bonnie Raitt,
(as well as some not so famous folk singers), Felicia has developed a vocal sound that spans the genres as well as the generations.
Her guitar playing is diverse as she was strongly influenced by the many countries she traveled to in the mid 90's. Spain, Brazil, and India, Felicia weaves in a little world beat sound, creating the exotic blend of Deep Elevation.
In smaller more intimate venues, such as workshops, sound healing, or private concerts, Felicia's innate ability to reach into someones heart and unleash their deep longing is possibly her greatest gift musically.

THE STORY
Felicia received the message to write songs, sing and play guitar in her late 20's.
With mystical dreams where Humpback whales revealed to her the infinite positive effects of healing through sound vibration.
A year later, In the deliciously, deep blue waters, she came face to face with 3 whales and experienced their powerful sonar!
In a "frozen in time" moment, with these enormously, magnificent beings staring into her eyes, the intensity of this experience defined Felicia's life's work.
She left mainland America to live in the Hawaiian islands.
With a physical condition that made it difficult for her to walk, she took to the ocean where she found the salty waters a welcome relief to the chronic pain.
During a solo swim one sparkling dawn, Felicia found herself surrounded by spinner dolphins! They took her on an epic journey of joy and weightlessness!
Feeling strong and fast in the water, she quickly became addicted to these adventures and camped close to the bay in which they occurred.
It was during these years that she began writing and playing music, as it was crystal clear that the miracle for living pain free was through the enchanted moments of song!
"This is why you will always see Felicia on stage with a huge smile on her face!"
Inspired by the folk, reggae musicians who frequented the islands, Felicia spent endless nights singing and jamming around campfires. This led to concerts and the creation of her 1st album, entitled "Do You Remember?".
With cassettes in hand, she traveled extensively for years, playing at the alternative music festivals and gatherings in Southern Oregon, Northern California, Arizona and Colorado.
After the birth of Compact Disc's, and the reconstructi
