FAT GOTH: the musical vehicle for three relatively young Scotsmen with a collective passion for all things guitar, drum and music-of-the-somewhat-antisocial-nature orientated.

Well then again, perhaps not. Adolescent males hailing from adequate backgrounds and associating themselves with rebellious institutions such as Rock and Roll in... order to facilitate their own burning desire to distance themselves from their fellow man because…
A. “They just don’t understand me!”
B. “She only fancies him ‘cos he’s amazing at football, but wait til she hears this fucking riff!”
C. “I genuinely hate everyone.”
…is a notion as old as society itself and one that has been repeated throughout the generations in some form or another. So why bother continuing to read this ‘bio’? What possible advantages could there becoming familiar with the intricate details of another 3 piece band of the rock variety? FAT GOTH likes to think it has its own distinguishable features. For example, FAT GOTH may well rate the musical output of seminal Chicago punks, Shellac. However, that doesn’t mean FAT GOTH wants to fucking BE Shellac! Ultimately, it’s unlikely FAT GOTH is going to change your life but you’ve managed to stick with this so far so you might as well see it through.
THE MEAT
Originally conceived in 2007 by drummer Mark Keiller, guitarist/vocalist Fraser Stewart and bassist Allan Mitchell in the Scottish City of Dundee, FAT GOTH set about focusing its attention on recording. This resulted in…

Being charitable sorts, the members of the band decided to make these releases available for free download from the following internet address:

Not long after the release of ‘Mindless Crap’, FAT GOTH played their first show and managed a few more before Mitchell moved to the land of Australia. He was replaced by Kevin Black of Laeto fame in late 2011.
