Originally from Illinois, Faith was conceived and raised by Gospel singing preachers, and there was no doubt that Faith would turn out to be an aspiring gospel singer. Through her training in high school, college and life experiences, Faith has become a dazzling and unique Gospel-Jazz singer. She is inspired by the jazz vocals of the late Ella Fitzgerald and the world renowned Gospel artist Kim Burrell. Faith's hard hitting jazz improvizations, scatting and unique rhythms dazzle audiences around the world.
Musically birthed from the steps of Howard University's Music Department and the surrounding area, Faith and the members of the Mona Jazz Group have merged together to create a unique sound and excitement from a live jazz band performing not only Jazz but the Blues, Gospel and Pop music. The band sets the mood every time they hit the stage!
