Factor 11 has been playing at the Downtown Farmers Market {San Rafael, CA} for 5 years now and we have had nothing but positive feedback. We get from 6-8 thousand people at the market weekly and Factor 11 gets the crowds singing and dancing in no time. They are very professional from start to finish. We have had a great experience every time we have had Factor 11 at the Market and could not recommend a band more highly. Their energy is contagious and their music outstanding!

Factor 11Biography
Factor 11 is a classic rock band. In live performances, the band blends some of the best classic rock songs ever recorded with its own original music. Think guitar driven harmony rock. The band puts on a great show that appeals to a wide variety of people. Our original compositions are interesting, fun and hit on issues that affect day to day life.
The bands musical influences start in the 60s (where good classic rock started) and keeps going into the present. Influencing artists are: Beatles, Cold Play, Alan Jackson, Queen, U2, and Beach Boy harmonies.
Factor 11 band members generally do not like the same music. The bass guy loves country. Lead guitar is a rocker. Rhythm is a choir director. Drummer is psychedelic pop. With a diverse group like this, it is surprising that the band stays together. The essential ingredients are that band members like each other, respect each others musical differences and blend them into the band's performances. Check out the Live Performance set list and you'll see what I mean.
Factor 11 band members reach out to the community and team up with local interdenominational church groups to connect with incarcerated youth at the Marin County Juvenile Hall facility. Music can be a "bridge" to providing hope for a better life and freedom from the repeat cycles of crime and drug addiction.
Factor 11 consists of: Spencer Scheer, songwriter, vocals and rhythm and lead guitar. Joe Rivera, songwriter and bass guitar; John Coons, vocals, rhythm guitar and sweet harmonies; Lloyd Minthrone, drummer, song writer and producer. Renee Smith will often appear with the band and adds vocals. Note: Our kids used to play in the band, but they got smart, grew up went to college or to work and for the most part moved away. They still come back on occasion to see the band.
Factor-11 has played in venues all over the Country, but plays primarily in a wide variety of venues in Northern California. The band focuses on county fairs, festivals and small clubs. Factor 11 always gets people up and singing and dancingBand Members
