In the midst of a game full of ‘rappers’ who are more concerned with singing their
verses or convincing us all that they are an alien from another planet, it’s refreshing to sit down and hear a tape full of nothing short of straight forward, heart felt, authentic rap. No gimmicks, no nonsense-just the voice of a hungry, 21 year old, MC from Flatbush Brooklyn relating his day to day to the listener over some beautiful original production from The Remedy and Flash Frequency Music. For fans of rap and fans of old-fashioned-home-baked in a bedroom music in general, Arc’s Noir will not disappoint.

Noteworthy
While this free “mixtape” may have carefully borrowed beats from some well known producers it also features original production that makes this whole project seem more like a proper album. The whole album is full of delightful gems that will have you pouncing on the rewind like “I know I’m not FOREVER but at least I got TODAY.”
You can cop it for FREE and if I cosign it why wouldn’t you want it? - http://www.yesyesyall.org
Been listening to this all day and man is it good! I can’t remember the last record/mixtape i listened to all the way through the first time and loved every track.
Brooklyn based MC Erick Arc Elliott released this on the 01/01/10 for download and i highly recommend it to anyone who likes Kayne, Drake, Kid Cudi etc.
Some real deep lyrics on this which is why i compare to Kayne, Cudi and Drake as their heartfelt lyrics and large amounts of singing are being dubbed the new era of hip hop. But please don’t be put off by this as there is no gimmicks on this, just straight up hip hop from start to finish.

Finals week is coming a close, and most of us are already in Spring Break mode. If you've been locked up under a book, or are still lost in Powell Library, you might have missed the perfect weather we've been having. It's time to get the party on, and what better way to get it started than with Erick ARC Elliott's new video for his song plane: the perfect after finals jam.

Saw this Brooklyn Local, Erick Arc Elliott, open for Ski Beatz, Stalley, and Rugz D. Bewler
last night at Cameo. It was an incredible show, pictures and Daru Jones/Stalley interviews in the lab.

The original song is "Feel It All Around" by Washed Out, I use to vibe to the original song a lot when it first came out. But i never though anyone would actually jump on the beat and rap but Erick Arc Elliott actually did and it turned out to be not so bad - Brainiac NYC
