Bio
Epic Snake was forged in the fires (practice rooms) of McNally Smith College of Music in the fall of 2009, and has since been slithering its way toward making their name in the progressive music scene in the Twin Cities.
Comprised of mostly music performance majors, members Nathaniel Lutes (guitar), Konstantine Stebliy (guitar), Stuart Capistran (drums), and Adam Couch (bass) bring forth a progressive new blend of hard rock, jazz, funk and metal that is purely instrumental, and heavily improvisational. Their mixed-meter grooves, harmonizing guitars, funky bass lines, soaring melodies, and exploratory improvisations have captivated audiences in many venues around the Twin Cities. Now their music has begun to spread across the midwest with recent accomplishments including a side stage performance at the Rave in Milwaukee supporting Umphrey's McGee.
Over the last year, they have been working in the studio with intentions to release their debut album in 2012.
