Norwegian teenager Emilie has some pretty impressive singing chaps. She delivers a performance of Adele‘s latest smash hit “Set Fire to the Rain” through her YouTube page (Binders1973).
This 14-year-old’s vocals are very mature on this track considering her age. It only makes sense since she’s been singing songs since she was three-years-old. She’s even posted videos throughout her singing years from ages three to seven to ten and so on and so forth.
Emilie’s choice of covers range from Adele to Rihanna to Jessie J. She even covers Celine Dion‘s classic ballad “All by Myself".
Check out her rendition below, share it with your friends, and let us know what you think of Emilie! - http://ryanseacrest.com/

Bio
Born in Oslo, Norway before relocating to Aas in Akershus, Emilie began displaying early signs of her singing prowess when she was very young. Her family recounts stories of Emilie learning over one-hundred songs for children before turning two-years-old! It was only a few years later that Emilie had her first official performance singing at a family member's wedding at the age of five.
Emilie's career quickly moved into fast-forward mode when her family decided to allow her to audition for Annie. Danish directors were searching for girls to perform in the musical on Sentrum Scene in Oslo. Because Emilie had become such a fan of watching television singing competitions, they decided to make the 30km drive to give her the experience of auditioning in front of judges.
Initially seeing it as a learning opportunity for the six-year-old Emilie, they arrived at the auditions to discover approximately two-thousand young girls were trying out for roles in the musical. She entered the audition room, leaving her parents waiting for nearly four hours. When the auditions ended, Emilie had been selected to for the role of Molly despite being the youngest participant to take part in the audition!
The next few years saw a flurry of activity. Emilie took part in several competitions, including the popular UKM in Norway. She advanced to the regional finals but was unable to advance to the national finals due to a competition rule requiring contestants in the national finals to be at least 13-years-old. Emelie was only ten at the time but was still awarded a scholarship. During the competition's 2013 run, Emilie advanced all the way to the finals and was later selected to perform at the international “Imagine Festival”.
It was only a few months after that Emilie had her first performance on national television. Producers at TV2 learned of Emilie singing at the opening of an electrical sea cable to the Netherlands and put out a call for anybody that could provide them with her name and a way to contact her. The television station eventually reached Emilie and offered her an expense-paid trip to sing on the national television show Waschera.
Everything that had happened to this point was a warm-up for what was about to happen next; Emilie decided to audition for Norway's Got Talent. Finding herself up against a field of nearly six-thousand contestants (five-thousand of which were aspiring singers), she made it through the audition process and advanced all the way to the show's semi-finals where she was the youngest of five singers remaining. At one point during the show's run, judge Mia Gundersen called Emilie her “favorite so far in this competition”.
Since her appearance on Norway's Got Talent, Emilie has had a number of wonderful opportunities come her way. Her YouTube channel has experienced a surge in both subscribers and views, with videos of her covering other artists' songs accumulating more than 1,000,000 views!
She received even more attention when one of her cover videos, Adele's Set Fire to the Rain, was seen by American Idol producer and host Ryan Seacrest. The video and a short article about Emilie was posted on the homepage of Seacrest's personal website, www.RyanSeacrest.com.
More recently, Emilie traveled to New York City in 2014 to record background vocals on a promo song for world-famous production team Stargate. However the production team thought so highly of Emilie's singing that she ended up being the lead vocalist on the promo song!
In the meantime, Emilie has also been using her voice to help those in need. She has taken part in several concerts, tours, and festivals benefiting the White Lily Foundation, which builds homes for orphaned children in Burma and Thailand. In the time period that Emilie has been volunteering with White Lily, the foundation has raised more than 3,000,000 NOK (nearly $400,000) to assist orphaned children and refugees!
