Bio
I have forty years experience in concerts, schools and colleges, clubs and festivals from Carnegie Hall to the smallest living room.
I also have many years leading bands: Bluegrass, traditional, jazz, klezmer, jug band.
Many years doing multi-cultural music programs in schools.
Many years performing for union, peace, social justice rallies, picket lines, etc.
Why have I spent my life doing this instead of making a living? This music is so much fun for me and for my audiences, as well as being occasionally socially useful, it's no contest.
