We are Ed Quartet, a pop-folk band in Chicago: hello! We are on the sunnier side of folk-pop (closer to Paul Simon's "Kodachrome") and chock full of joyous, original tunes.
Personnel: The band is fronted by Eun Deitemyer and supported by fellow bandmates Jon Deitemyer (drummer for Concord artist Patricia Barber), Chris Siebold (guitarist for NPR Prairie Home Companion and Grammy-winning Howard Levy), and Matt Ulery (NPR Top 10 Jazz Album 2012).
"Fate Steps In" release: As Ed Quartet, we quietly released our EP digitally and, with no press, garnered praise from lifestyle blogs (ex: Cup of Jo) and surprisingly thousands of YouTube plays (ex: Brings Me Heartache).
Live shows: Glenwood Ave Arts Festival (Chicago), Lincoln Hall (Chicago), Jerry's (Chicago), Tonic Room (Chicago). Local support for nationally touring Star & Micey.
