Edifice

Edifice music is melodic rock featuring classical, jam, and electronic influences. The songs range from somber to uplifting, often building to epic crescendos.

Recent high-profile gigs include the Fall Mountain Music Festival and opening spots for national acts. Also, the band members' solo projects have taken them to places such as Vegas Music Conference, Whitby England, and improvisation invites in Seattle and Frankfurt Germany - and earned a finalist position in the Independent Music Awards.

Ryan and Josh started the band in 2003, with Brendan joining in 2005. Adrian joined in 2006. While Brendan and Adrian had some solo music opportunities through composition for warr and electronica, respectively, it wasn't until they joined Edifice that they felt like they had "come home." These musicians live for the rush of being on stage.

Edifice is dedicated to quality production, to the extent of creating software to assist in audio / video manipulation. Each musician leverages experience from his other professional pursuits for the band's benefit, including mechanical and electrical engineering, audio and graphics processing, software design. Members of the band have presented experiments with music composition algorithms and visualization software at ACM and IEEE conferences, and have been profiled by Apple Computer.
