Writing poetry and melodies at a very early age, it wasn't until after college that Dylan began to focus whole-heartedly on the craft of songwriting. Now, she is quickly gaining a reputation for her unique brand of soulful, lyrically driven folk rock as a prolific and active traveling musician.

She released her first record "Paint, Clay, and Other Mediums" in March of 2012 and her second, a demo-style acoustic record called "Songbook Chapter One," in the fall of 2013. She is currently wrapping up her third album of music called "From and Island" to be released in the fall of 2014.

As a live act Dylan Jane most often performs solo but is sometimes accompanied by a collective of friends and musicians as Dylan Jane and the Turning Leaves. She is best booked for showcases, music cafes, and sincere listening rooms. She also fits well as an opening act for bigger bands in similar genres.

With plans to continue seeking opportunities to share her music with the world, Dylan made her first tour excursion in October 2013, playing shows in some of the coolest cafes and folk clubs throughout the South from West Virginia to Florida and Louisiana.
