Hey, it’s 11:11! Make a wish! What? Seriously? Alright then, dub-pop quartet DrifterSwift will be taking the stage tonight at T.T. the Bear’s. No, no, we agree, those guys are awesome. Got this nifty fuzzy-edged indie-thing going, it’s pretty fucking sweet, we’re with you. We were just figuring you’d go in for biggie, like an end to globalized conflict, or a universal declaration of human rights, or hell, even longer hours for the T. But hey, it’s your call. You deal out your omnipotence however you see fit. That poverty thing will probably fix itself any day now. [ - The Phoenix, Boston

Bio
Drifterswift emerged in 2009 under the influence of dream pop bands, and new wave. It was clear from the start the band had a unique sound, and deftness for crafting earworms. Compromising of singer/guitarist Summer Redko, lead guitarist Jon Keane, bassist Zach Lerman and drummer Jeff Holden, the band hails from Boston and regularly gigs around the New England area including notable performances at The Middle East Night Club, Porchfest 2013, Deep Heaven Now festival and Berklee’s Rock Enroll showcase. The Two Minutes Hate EP was Drifterswift's first self-released record - deriving the title from the George Orwell novel 1984. Jason Marchionna (The Future Carnivores, Fluttr Effect) mixed their follow up EP The Rule of Twelfths. They are set to record their third EP at Dirty Water Sound in Charlestown, MA this summer 2013.
