Dreamers

Dreamers is a metal band hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Formed on January 1st 2010 as an outlet for founding members John Bernardo and Steven Sugrim to create something random and different then they had done in the past. One of the largest challenges for any developing band is finding the right members who are passionate and committed. And although it’s taken some time, John and Steve along with guitarist Matthew Coelho seem to have perfected the recipe with the addition of vocalist Adrian Desousa and drummer Matt Trozzi. With this new lineup Dreamers has grown into an unstoppable epic metal music machine.

Since its inception Dreamers has gained experience in the studio working with Jon Howard of Threat Signal and Bjorn Strid of Soilwork on their 2011 release of "Shenanigans", as well as with Dave Sheldon of Exes for Eyes on the massively popular cover of Black and Yellow. On stage Dreamers has had the honour of opening for and providing direct support to some big names in the heavy music world playing with bands such as Letlive, Threat Signal, Baptized In Blood, This or The Apocalypse, Obey The Brave, and more. In 2012 Dreamers also played festivals such as Southern Ontario Metal Festival, Rock The Mill, Spring Music Festival, Canadian Music Week, and NXNE.

The band is set to go into school house studios with Nick Ginn of Them Thieves to record in late Spring 2013. The EP will showcase the band's growth as people, entertainers and most importantly musicians. Look out for "Strictly Business" in summer 2013, along with Dreamers hitting a city near you in the very near future. With a new release, fresh faces, and an energetic live show you won’t want to miss a thing, 2013 is the year of Dreamers.
