Dosareality

Cherie Ruben, lead vocals/keyboards joined songwriter/keyboardist Larry Decz and songwriter/guitarist Dave Pinson to form the progressive/alternative band Dosareality in late 2005. The group have recorded 3 full-length CD’s, “Cold Wet Blanket” released in 2008, and “2nd Revolution” which was released in 2009. and "Darkside",released in October 2011 which was recorded with John Marino on drums and Jeff Shirley on bass. It includes the award winning song "On the Banks" for which the band was honored with an award at the 2012 Erie Canal Key to the Locks ceremony in Lockport NY.

The bands music has aired on various Buffalo NY local radio stations including WBNY, WXRL, and 94.9. Their songs receive airplay on Women of Substance, Radio Crystal Blue, Christmasmusic247, and Pongid internet radio stations. They have also been featured on Western New York Time Warner cable public access channel broadcasts of ‘Spyguys TV’ and ‘Sports and Entertainment Weekly’.

Since 2012 the band has reverted back to it's original format as a Trio and have been performing gigs playing sets of mostly classic rock cover songs, with a few of their original songs thrown in for good measure!

About the band members:

Cherie Ruben’s captivating vocal style comes from her influences Suzanne Vega, Fleetwood Mac, and Lisa Loeb. She also plays piano and keyboards. In addition to rocking with Dosareality, Cherie performs in many choirs, musicals, operettas and operas in the Buffalo NY area with the Orchard Park Chorale and Opera-lytes. She is big karaoke fan as well.

Larry Decz is the main lyricist in the band and has penned the majority of their song lyrics. In addition to writing, singing and playing keyboards with Dosareality, he has performed in plays such as “Brigadoon” at Lancaster Opera House and The "Gondoliers" at Alleyway theatre.

Dave Pinson plays guitar, mandolin, and he also plays bass guitar on the 1st 2 of the bands 3 CD's. He is a former guitarist of Buffalo cover bands Mercury Rising, Blazin’ Halo, Untied & Fully Torqued. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
