Dogsway's track, "The Reckoning", will be included in the new indy horror film Rotkappchen: The Blood of Red Riding Hood.
Most recently Dogsway played DFEST 2009 and has been invited to include their music in several licensing catalogs for movies/tv/film.
The creation of DOGSWAY has been an endeavor needing decades to perfect. It all began in Tulsa, OK, back in the teenage years of the bands visionary, Nick Graziano, who spent countless hours strumming chords next to his friend and bassist Travis Taylor. After years of jam session after jam session, it was finally time for Nick and Travis to put the puzzle together and it started with the added ingredient of Eric DeMoss in 2007. Eric’s emotional style on the rhythm strings, combined with the smooth and undeniable continuity of Nick and Travis, had formed the base to push DOGSWAY forward. The pieces were beginning to fall into place, but the crucial element that was still lost, was the voice. Enter Shawn Wilson, whose crisp and defining vocals not only complemented, but enhanced the sound that Nick, Travis, and Eric had already refined. Finally, the spirit of DOGSWAY had been born. The guys then set out to polish their performing skills and began collaborating and gigging with drummer, Brian Harrison. After a number of performances, it was clear that there was a definite future for DOGSWAY. As Brian left to pursue other interests, the band found support from the rhythm section of established drummer, Jason Gilardi. Together, they paved a road all the way to the doorstep of Dave Percefull, master of Yellowdog Studios in Austin, TX. With the assistance of Dave, the band has ground and sharpened their sound to a musically polished edge. DOGSWAY is a rock band by all natural and instinctual abilities, but its not fair limit them to such a genre. From the deep and involved lyrics of the ballad “Burn” to the raw and callous sound of “The Reckoning”, the only fair word to describe DOGSWAY is potential…..potential to amplify their music into any and all defined genres. With a spectrum of other material, DOGSWAY has finalized their anticipated debut album which was released in early 2009.
