D.M.B

D.M.B is a rap group from Detroit, Michigan that is comprised of 3 members, Ronnie “Mitch Moneybags” Alexander (25), Andrew “Castro Corleon” Burney (25) and Dwayne “Oppisit” Alexander (24). These childhood friends have been rhyming for over a decade, perfecting their craft as the years went by.

D.M.B is a talented group with each member something different; Oppisit is a producer, sound engineer and song writer, Mitch Moneybags is a video editor and song writer and Castro Corleon is a song writer and composer. The members of D.M.B work hard at their craft and are willing to work with anyone that’s serious about Hip-Hop.

When people listen to D.M.B’s music many say they have a different type of vibe, but the members of D.M.B like to say it’s just “Real Rap”. D.M.B draws most of their inspiration from their own life experiences but they are also inspired by some of the great Hip Hop icons of the late 80’s and 90’s.

D.M.B has over 100 recorded songs under their belt but never compiled them into a finished mixtape or album. Without much focus they were just making songs to make songs. Now as time passes they realized that if they really wanted to make music their career they had to get focused and move in a consistent direction. As the saying goes “If you continue to do the same thing you will continue to get the same results” with that said D.M.B released their first official mixtape “Effortless” on October 10, 2010. Music is their passion and they are putting their all into it.
