Divepool‘s new single “Lucky Cat” takes a side-step from their shoegazey tracks of last spring and summer and takes on something more firmly planted in horror-surf. It gives singer Amanda Feunzalida a stage to really make use of her vocal talents, at times seeming to channel Karen O but with a lusty soulfulness fitting any 60’s era femme fatale film. - Mouser

Divepool‘s new single Emelia‘s (coincidentally the name of their drummer) circular melody comes in slowly and then takes you in before you can help but fall into the spiral of the song. Amanda Fuenzalida‘s note stretching vocals provide the perfect texture for the musical carousel turning almost despite of them. Keeping with the rain-like tempo of the song, the video dances in light and shadow with percussive motion. - Mouser
