Dirty Blind is recognized for their nod to the bona fide rock/pop vibe of the 60s and 70s while incorporating a modernity to their sound... Retro Rock! Originally formed by Pete Jacobs and Dorsey "Sky" Parker in Stamford, NY, Dirty Blind has gone through many forms. In the summer of 2010, Pete and Dorsey self-recorded and co-produced the EP, "Thoughts Upon A Window," at "The Poolhouse," their studio in upstate, NY. The creative chemistry between the duo sparked an interest in those longing for a good rock and roll band. Playing under the names Pete Jacobs Band, Pete Jacobs and His Imaginary Friends, and Electric Evolver, the band performed with various members throughout 2010. Shortly after finishing Thoughts Upon A Window, with guitarist Andre Vasconcelos, and bassist Apoena Frota, the group gained momentum under their new name, Dirty Blind and performing shows throughout the northeast, opening for acts including Bootsy Collins and Jefferson Starship. After 2012, the band took on a new lineup with Pete still at the lead vocals, Josh Miller on guitar, Tommy Panos on piano, "Miss Christine" Moad on bass, and Shaina Mikee Keiths on drums, to perform more shows with Jefferson Starship and beyond!
