Bio
Denny Lloyd is a British Singer/Songwriter born and based in the royal borough of Windsor in the U.K.
In 2001 Denny quit his day job of working in a warehouse and went self-employed as a musician, gigging pubs and teaching guitar in his local area.
After recording a number of demos at his local studio. Denny decided to finally record and release an album ‘Running On The Spot.’
Produced by Neil Thom the album was well received and the track ‘Concerned’ won a BBC talent contest in 2004, whilst a second track ‘Breathe’ was a runner up in VH1’S Song Of The Year’ 2005.
Denny released the follow up album ‘The Flipside’ in September 2008, this coincided with a headline performance at Farmer Phil’s Festival where he played to an audienece of over 3000 people, sharing the bill with Chumbawamba and Hazel ‘O’ Connor.
Denny has recently been writing and recording with ‘Guy Chambers’ who famously Co-wrote and produced several of Robbie Williams hits including ‘Angels.’
Finalist in Mike Pinder's Songwriting Competition 2010 with the song '2 Bottles Time'.
Influences include, Zero 7, Sia, The Beatles, Paul Weller and Crowded House.
