Last Tuesday, the rock
band America (Horse with No
Name, Tin Man and countless
other chart topping hits) per-
formed at Artpark in Lewiston.
As always their performance
was by far and away as good
as it gets. America has a repu-
tation for leaving their audi-
ences awe-struck!
The question was; who
would dare to open for them?
The answer; two strangers
brought together by the grav-
ity of music, David Nolf and
Chad Moran and their band;
One and One. These two
singer songwriters are bound
to put Buffalo on the map once
again. Blending eclectic
sounds with guitar riffs and
fretwork, Nolf and Moran stay
true to their original sound by
refusing to conform to the
bland echo of mediocre music.
Together they truly define
a new meaning behind a di-
verse mix of blues and rock.
Influenced by a broad spec-
trum of distinctive musicians,
One and One draws their tal-
ent and motivation to con-
tinue down the path to create
a musical resonance of their
own.
Performing at Buffalo’s
legendary venues such as
The Tralf, Town Ballroom, and
Club Infinity, One and One
reaches out and appeals to a
diverse audience. Along with
these performances and with
help from established local
musician Marc Scibilia and
filmmaker Julian Smith, a video
for their debut single “Pushin
Through” was filmed. (Go to

Nolf and Moran will be
back in the studio working on
material for their full-length al-
bum, following last year’s re-
lease of their self-titled debut
EP. Hopefully our Black Rock
/ Riverside community will see
an appearance this summer! - Riverside Review
