Can we just dispense with the pretense? I am going to write a few paragraphs telling you how wonderful I am and how unique my music is and you will be mildly curious at best and probably even a little bored. Charmed already, aren’t you?
My music sounds like Shawn McDonald meets Switchfoot with subtle electronic & folk influences. You may think of it as something else if you like.
I tell stories. Usually mine. But as I tell my story I might tell yours, too, you'll see.
My solo career is just beginning. I released my debut solo album, "Things That Make Us" in early 2009 and every note you hear, every lyric, every chord, every bit of humanity, is me, David James Stewart.
This album is the result of the last three years of my life. Heartbreak, failure, hope, new beginnings, struggle, triumph, transformation... things that have made me… things that are making me… things that have made us.
