Roots in late 60's & 70's.Main influences Bob Dylan , James Taylor , Simon & Garfunkel , Joni Mitchell etc.
Although have been writing songs since my youth , (a few decades back). in the last 3 years have had incredible "Sap to flow" and during this time have written over 500 songs.Approx' half of these are Gospel and the remaining are what I refer to as "Theme Songs". These themes include Tourism songs depicting cities and countries around the world , eg Los Angeles , New York , London , Cape Town, Singapore etc , Motivation songs ( General) and Sports motivational songs.Sports teams/Sports themes and Sports Legends songs eg Gary Player and Ernie Els - my South African heroes.I can custom write top team songs for your Sports teams - contact me!... sorry where was I?....Wildlife songs depicting Africa's big 5 and others...can also custom write these for Animal Planet , Nat' Geographic etc.Being a Educator/Teacher ( English and History Majors) , I have written about 15 songs dealing with different aspects of English Grammar ( Nouns,
Verbs, Adjectives etc), which are very suitable for Junior or High School students and learner adults.I have written songs depicting various themes in History , as well as Conservation songs.
I have written 4 full (12 song) musicals , two being close to my heart dealing with the plight of Africa's Aids Orphans and Streetchildren (Bono - if you read this , please bro' , I believe this is the perfect tool for fundraising for Africa's needs).Another musical "Big River" (Theme song "Big River" in my EPK) views the Aids pandemic from a Christian perspective).I have written a number of songs dealing with some of the challenges that us "mortals" face in life on the practical level - financially , hard circumstances etc.I have also written a variety of novelty songs.
MAIN FOCUS POINT:
As I have written so many songs , it is unlikely that I can run with most of them personally.Because of this and also because I do not have the time and money to make higher quality recordings , most of my songs I am making available for other artists to use.With this understanding , to date I have made basic home recordings of about 300 of my songs and every day trying to do more.For music libraries , publishers/end users who may be interested in my music , if you took the raw product and had other artists/ bands do final product recordings of these?

Not trying to justify myself being a "nobody's heard of " in the music world,but as these songs are "hot off the press", in having been written in the last two years , I am now only able to make efforts to get them heard out there.
