Sporting knee socks with skirts, these indie sweeties have channeled every drop of nonchalant naïveté into their irresistible, sparkling upbeat songs.
The band's latest album "McMicken" playfully blends Dana and Rob’s harmonies with Jane's discordant guitar to create a collection of noise-coated home-ec inspired melodies.
Darlene has recently shared the stage with Bright Light Social Hour, OHMME, Fruit & Flowers, Ex Hex, Radiation City, The Courtney’s, Danielson & Jad Fair and Leggy.
Darlene takes their name from the sardonic middle child of the Conner family on the TV sitcom Roseanne. Ira Kaplan School of Happy Noise.
