Bio
Dan York has been playing in alternative/rock bands since the age of 14 where he started as the keyboardist for the band Wide Eyed Blind. After a few years, Mike Murphy and Dan York went off to create their new act called the Cinderkin where Dan (Bass) and Mike Murphy (Lead Vox) really founded their skills as songwriters.
This all-original Chicago rock band lasted for 9 years and has worked with such producers as Sean McMahon (Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Escape from Earth, Stonesour) and Matt Matton (Skillet, Hangnail) as well as had major radio airplay throughout the Midwest. The Cinderkin disbanded in 03' after which York and Murphy started their next band- Highland Sunset. Now the Band is called the Role of Earth.
