Forging his own path with a mash of confessional singer songwriting and indie pop, and a voice like pure rich velvet. Influeces date back to the 70s Paul Simon, James Taylor and Bob Dylan to modern day classics such as Death Cab and Wilco.

After a massive 2010 where Dan Parsons broke onto the Aus indie scene with his debut album Firestarter, Parsons is still going hard. He plays Woodford over the New Year and then will follow up with a 50 date tour of regional Australia with his mate and fellow singer songwriter Steve Grady. From there he travels to the US in eraly may and then to the UK where he has been invited to two prestigious festivals (anouncement to be made public in February)
