“Daniel Christian is a songwriter whose compositions are strong on melody, with intelligent lyrics that challenge the listener. He is a gifted singer and multi-instrumentalist too, playing drums, guitar and keyboards on his new CD. He sings and plays his songs with an intensity and passion that are beyond his years. In a musical landscape where there are so many posers and manufactured artists, Daniel stands out as the real deal.” --Charlie Chadwick, Nashville session musician and recording engineer, 2-time Grammy-winner (Peter Frampton's FINGERPRINTS) - Charlie Chadwick, 2-time Grammy-winner

Bio
Out of southeast Nebraska comes a singer-songwriter who blends a pop/rock sensibility with folk/country roots.
Nashville recording artist Daniel Christian has won two National Country Music Festival awards, and was nominated for five Omaha Entertainment Awards, including recognition for Best Singer-Songwriter, Best Christian/Gospel, Best Alternative/Indie Artist, and Artist of the Year. He has entertained large audiences at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, Knott's Berry Farm, the Warner Brothers Cruise Line, many festivals, and even in the Bahamas and Mexico. Daniel has performed for sold-out crowds at Atlanta's famed Eddie's Attic and Nashville's legendary Bluebird Cafe, as well as SXSW Festival in Austin.
After several rewarding years, Daniel left his day job as a high school English teacher to continue working as a musician and songwriter.
In 2009, Daniel joined the roster of USO performers making themselves available to entertain soldiers overseas. The same year, he was selected to perform at "Born to Play," an event spanning North America, which set the record for largest simultaneous acoustic music concert of all time.
He is a founding member of Nebraskas chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), and in 2008, he composed the school song for Johnson County Central High School in his hometown of Tecumseh, NE. The Lincoln Journal-Star says that the song creates "a unity between the school and its community of patrons. The lyrics pay homage to what had been but also focuses on what is now and what will be. It focuses on unity, loyalty and pride in the new school."
Daniel continues to share his music across the nation. He will release his third album of original music in 2013.
