"Dalivaa Is Delivering"

How old is this cat? Damn, lyrical delivery is insane, beats is hot and talent just flows from these tracks! Dalivaa is doin' his thang!

This rapper/producer definitely got his set together droppin' some hot beats and catchy rhymes one wonders how long until we see him on MTV with the rest o' these hip-hop cats.

In the same league as J-Kwon, 50-Cent and Lil John this cat WILL be heard. Production is bangin' and lyrics are on point. With hot joints like "Sweat it Out" and "It's Ova Now" this boy gon' break down some hip-hop doors and soon! Emitting serious professionalism and hard work ethics I'm anticipating some serious rippling effects in the industry when this cat finally gets the props he so obviously deserves.

Keep it up B! Dalivaa it to these Cats and let 'em know! - CatsAsk.Com

"Dalivaa – Ready to Deliver"

Plenty of hip hop artists hit the scene making big noises about the sonic revolution they are about to bring about. These guys all talk the talk, but few of them walk the walk.

That is why Dalivaa is different. Here is an artist who is happy to let his music do the talking. And it is beginning to shout his name out loud.

Dalivaa’s latest single ‘I Can Handle It’ comes on the back of an incendiary debut in the form of ‘Livin That Life’ – a tune that blew up big style on the internet, entering the Billboard Chart just a few places behind no lesser star than Lady Gaga.

Growing up listening to ‘Illmatic’ and dreaming of one day emulating its creator – Nas – Dalivaa combines the old school rhymes that created that seminal record with new school sensibilities that will appeal to rap fans young and old.

Both singles come from a performer who is accomplished, confident and original. Furthermore, there is an extra ingredient that makes Dalivaa so different from his ‘talking loud, saying nothing’ hip hop peers. Unlike many, he puts his life experiences into his music – not just a make-believe cartoon image of ‘street life’. He believes that, while everyone’s life is unique, we all share certain emotions – appealing to the listener on that universal level is how Dalivaa reaches him or her and explains why his music touches people so deeply

Dalivaa wants to move the game in a positive direction. That’s exactly what his infectious beats, driving rhythms and positive lyrics are doing already.

Dalivaa admits he is still learning his craft but he is more accomplished, already, than most. These first two singles, already available online, are a sign that he is an artist with a massive future. And not a bad present, either.

Buy these singles while they are still collectors’ items, and remember the name. Why? Because Dalivaa is one rapper who is going to live up to his name. - Duss Rodgers - The Music Biz Buzz

"Dalivaa - The Next Package"

No matter if it’s rapping, rhyming, writing or producing, Dalivaa does is all! A jack of all trades hailing from North Carolina and a soloist with plenty of accolades to complete his resume, he is ready to let everyone know that his voice can’t be ignored.

Now equipped with a legion of followers, a label in ReKLes Entertainment ready to back his every move and a plethora of talents to implement at any time, Dalivaa is set to attack the industry from as many angles as he has skills.

With a new single heating up the streets and a desire to separate himself from the rest of his generation, Yo! Raps caught up with the multi talented artist to see exactly what he has to deliver!

No better place then to start with the new single, let everyone know what’s going on with I Can Handle It...

The song is basically talking about me handling any situation that the music industry throws at me. Plus I’m talking about a few touchy subjects in the industry, from artists not selling albums any more, to rappers not having the skills enough to spit lyrics on the banging beats they have.

You've had some great success in the industry up to this point, but with the success of your last single Livin That Life coupled with the new single, do you believe you've found the right recipe to push your career to the next level?

Definitely, I’ve spent about 10 years trying to perfect my craft and I believe I’ve finally mastered the recipe of just making hit records, so it’s only to the top from here.

You entered the Billboard’s Top 100 Hot Singles at #24 and Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles at #6 with Livin That Life, how does that feel for an up-n-coming artist like yourself, that’s a huge success.

It’s crazy to see my name in the same place as a lot of other stars! I’m very excited about that, especially since I’m signed to an independent label.

Do you feel any pressure of reaching the same success with I Can Handle It?

No not at all. I’m very confident in this single and the ones that will follow. I feel like as long as its quality music, I don’t have anything to worry about.

There are a lot of young artist making a name for them self in Hip-Hop right now, where do you see your self fitting into that landscape?

I don’t see myself fitting in at all…I’m trying to stand out! I’m willing to work with anybody that’s down with the movement of bringing Hip-Hop back to where it’s supposed to be.

Hailing from North Carolina, do you feel like that has made it a little tougher to break into the game?

Well, I think it’s tough in a sense because it’s not a state really known for its music. It definitely makes you grind harder to get where you need to be though.

You're a talented cat, not only do you rap but you produce as well. What came first rhyming or producing and what influenced you to do the other?

Producing came first. I was in a band at school from the 4th to the 12th grade and have loved making music ever since then. I was in a group called the Darkshadows during the 10th grade and began producing because we had no one to make beats for us, so I did. But when I first heard Nas’ Illmatic, I wanted to start putting stories to the music.

What separates the two? What's the difference between Dalivaa the rapper and Dalivaa the producer?

Not much is different between the two except that I take a different approach with each track. When I’m writing a song I daydream about what the concept is and I put myself in that situation, if I’m not in the situation already. As for Dalivaa the producer, when I’m making beats it’s more of a vibe thing. I make the different beats depending on how I feel at the time, like if I feel hype, sad, like I’m in love, etc.

You broke into the rap game as part of the group Darkshadows, what’s been the difference between stepping out on your own compared to being just one piece of a group?

The difference is I can show my full potential as a solo artist. In a group you really have to focus on making one verse for a song and that’s it. But when it comes to you as a solo artist, making a good song by yourself shows that you got what it takes to handle your own.

RekLes Entertainment is your new home, what attracted you to them?

I have been with RekLes since day one of existence, so it’s always been love. Their hard work, ethics and knowledge of great music gave me an avenue to pursue my music career.

You are just about everywhere on the Internet right now, with plenty of songs getting a lot of spins, how big of a tool has that been for your career?

The Internet is huge for me because I can reach so many people at one time across the world. I love the fact that my fans can find me and listen to my music with just one click.

How much does your name relate to your style of rhyme/persona?

My name relates to my style because of my delivery. I can rap on any beat and I always find the best way to mix my style in with my word play.

If you had the opportunity to tell every Hip-Hop fan in the world the one reason why they should listen to your music, what would it be?

My music gives you something to actually listen to rather than just a bunch of words on a hot beat. I actually have something to talk about!

With two singles out right now, when can we expect the album?

The album will drop in mid 2011.

What's on the horizon for Dalivaa, as an artist and producer?

The official mixtape titled Special Dalivaary is coming soon and of course the album is going to be crazy! I’m trying to get into acting too.

Where's Dalivaa 5 years from now?

At the top but still grinding like I haven’t made it yet.

Let everyone know where they can check you out, how they can get in touch with you and support the movement.
