Former TV news producer turned stay at home dad John Boydston makes rock and roll CD's for kids in his basement. He's produced 5 highly acclaimed and award-winning CD's (working on #6, for an early 2008 release) by going with his gut and instinct based on what he learned as a hands-on dad: Kids like to rock. There was one day when my kids were maybe 5 and 3, they heard "A Hard Day's Night" in the Car" and their Barney and Raffi days were over. The light bulb went off and John's been busy and having fun ever since. Now those same two kids are in my band - ever nudging me to the side of the stages, stealing my licks and keep up the energy while giving me my first ever Daddy A Go Go live stage band. What sets Daddy A Go Go music apart from literally everyone else, is the rawness and sheer rock exuberance of my songs and how they are delivered, especially live now with my new energized band. My influences are too many to mention, but start with Eddie Cochran and go through the Sex Pistols and continue with the likes of Jack White.
