Tell us about where you are from and how you got to this position today.
We are From San Antonio Texas and been doing music ever since we were 8. Kidd Isaiiaih & Perk got to this point after they opened up for “DMX” Dec 1st, 2011.

What do you have coming up? What are some of the new projects we can expect to see?
Kidd Isaiiaih & C.Perk have a mixtape called “Mermaids x 40oz” coming out in 2 months. Also an EP with their band “Cantaloupe St. Pierre.”

Tell us more about the current song you are promoting to everyone.
The “Devils Hand” is a powerful song about an obsession with material stuff. Money, cars, and sex is what people turn to when stressed and when they’re down.

How does your music separate yourself from other artists and bands out there?
Our music separates us from others because we are awfsetcollective! A collective of graffiti artists, filmers, and MCs who perform live with a band while live art is being done by our mural/graffiti artists.

Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in the industry?
Just getting people to understand the positive message. Every one likes that fake life, cars they don’t have, clothes, and etc. We talk about being in the struggle and doing for others before the self all while staying humble.

What was one of the biggest set backs in your career and how did you bounce back?
We had all went back to school and pretty much thought everyone else had their own agenda, but we were just handling business so we could come back stronger.

What are some things artists need to be careful of?
Lies in the lyrics. I know this is the music business, but ignorance is not what I was raised up on. Artists need to also work on there promoting skills, your relationship with your PR is very important for success.

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
Do music you love to do!

What is one of your favorite ways to promote yourself and your music?
We like to promote through our shirts, visuals/music videos, and charity work. Giving back is the key and pay homage to your elders.
