'Thunder Dump' reminds me of the intenstity involved with excreting [shit] while on acid -- phaser sounds and all. Sarcastic to epic, I can't really narrow down their sound to any one type. . . and I'm not sure how much is improv; though its sounds like half of it is. - North Texass Bullshit

From Soundplot.net's D. Nakers:
Master musicianship. The music is full and hits you like a wall of sound that is usually more common in chaos rock, The difference of course being that instead of attacking you it cradles you. Swirling sounds of precision with distant hints of drone, they represent a mastery of their instruments that is rare and hard to fine. You will recognize these musicians from many other Denton projects, all of which are great in their own rights but do not hold a candle to Curvette. Live this band is a jaw dropper. Being that they don't use any loops or computers to help them make these sounds on stage, the largest problem that they have live is completely upstaging everyone they play with. Attention constantly changes back and forth from rhythm and lead with forward thinking and intelligent drum beats that push the listener through the song at a furious pace leaving not only the ability but strong want of repeated listening. It should be considered a moral imperative to ingest as much music from these guys you can find, you will not be disappointed. They don't play out very much these days, hopefully this will change but until it does keep a keen eye out for their name and go to great lengths to be there when they do make the rare appearance
