First up, we've got Crooked Hill, a pop-punkish (emphasis on the pop) band with male and female co-lead vocals. They sort of remind me of Morningwood more than, say, Paramore, and to me that's a good thing, even if people who compare the relative sales figures of those two bands might not think so. Still, give 'em a listen 'cause their songs are catchy as hell. - RoadRunner Records

The five piece band has birthed a sound that is equal parts alternative rock and power pop, all the while paying homage to a dizzying array of influences from 80's new wave to folk music. The songs themselves are a mosaic of the bands experiences, beliefs and observations of the human condition.
Crooked Hill SOLD OUT their CD Release Party at the Studio at Hamilton Place on January 15th, 2011 selling over 300 tickets. Since then, the band has successfully been drawing crowds and playings to hundreds of fans in the greater Toronto area.
Crooked Hill’s debut EP “Up, Up Away” is available on iTunes and in October 2011, they hit the road to Atlanta to record their 3rd release AMERICAN AUTUMN with producer Matt Goldman (Copeland, Underoath). AMERICAN AUTUMN is now available on iTunes.
