Bio
Opening for a hardcore punk band from the East Bay was probably not the best idea for these pearl-snap-wearing, thick-rimmed-glasses-donning teens from Dallas. Luckily, they learned quickly and have become one of the most respected bands in Dallas. The kicker? They're all under 20. Singer Douglas Schadt (18) began performing as a solo artist at the age of 14 and started Criminal Shift soon after with friend Ryan Prim on drums. As the band progressed, they picked up bassist after bassist eventually finding Will Conklin (17). The band has played gigs around Texas on a near-constant basis for the past 3 years, not even stopping to record their two EPs, Young Machines, and The Fiction.
