Breaking Down, coming from Arizona will be playing the famous Viper Room. Their defining sound has brought them to stages around the US. Their music has been featured on NBC's The Biggest Loser. The stage for TNT NBA Block Party at US Airways Center was taken by Breaking Down and filled with fans.
A sound so refreshing and exquisite with inspiring lyrics gives them the edge needed to bring new life to the stage.
With vocals so intoxicating, full of life and rich in range, Christine Ray creates a sound defining herself and redefining the position of the lead singer. Jacob Boyd and Rodrigo Ferriera reignite the roles of guitarist as they create sounds soothing for the ears of many. Morgan Ambrose and AAMRhonda Wooder bring to the stage the body shaking, heart-stop beats suitable for anyone looking to feel how music is meant to be felt.
For everyone who values honest self-expression, Breaking Down is a musical breath of fresh air; a powerful yet vulnerable dichotomy of rock and soul which compels the listener into catharsis effortlessly and buoys the heavy heart with a stream of musical sympathy. A relatively new family of musicians, Breaking Down already exudes a quality in their music that transcends the catchy hooks and sexy female vocals and positively reeks of the classic. Given the almost magical success of the group since they formed in mid-2002, their future success appears to be on par with their gifts. They look to have an impact as a voice of encouragement to a generation whose hope is breaking down.

Bio
Forming in 2010, Covela (co-ve'-la) stars Sarah Drinkwine on vocals, Jake Boyd and Brad Golding on guitars, Chris Windsor on bass and Christian "The German" Fuhrer on drums. These musicians materialized from previously existing valley bands as well as LA/Nashville and North Carolina (Sarah & Christian, respectively). Once formed, they coined their name from the constellation "Vela" which is latin for the sails of a ship. Covela's self-recorded, self-titled EP will be released on February 18th and features the ultra pop-rocky "Floodline", the mysteriously driven "Mundane vs Madness", the epic ballad of "Better" and the eye-crossing ear candy of "Time". Two bonus tracks, "Floodline (Live)" and an electronic remix of "Time" are also included. The band's driven, melodic rock sound has been paralleled to Paramore, Jimmy Eat World, Muse and The Killers. These, along with the band's collective writing, touring and performance experience, have made Covela edgy, driven and melodic, yet just pop-rock enough to give their performance relevant energy.
