Corey Bernhard Electric Soul Trio

The Corey Bernhard Electric Soul Trio combines the tradition of jazz improvisation, exploration and lyricism with the sounds of soul and hip-hop from today's generation. Consisting of Corey Bernhard on keys (currently touring with Bilal and Talib Kweli), DJ Ginyard on bass, (touring with Estelle), and Justin Tyson on drums (touring with Estelle and Cubic Zirconia), the band has a unique and fresh approach to music informed by their experiences playing the music of this generation. Performing original music and covers, the band is developing a fresh and exciting sound and plans on going into the studio to record their first album this fall.
