Dear Mauricio,
Thanks for submitting the material for the evaluation.
The songs, vocals, musicianship and production are all outstanding. I am very impressed.
The group also has a cool and marketable image. The photography is also well done.
To give you insight to the scoring scale above, the majority
of artists score in the 2.5 to 3.5 range in the various categories.
Whenever an artist sees a 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 or 3.5 as a score in a certain category (or categories) it means that's an area I feel they need to improve and develop.
When an artist sees 4, 4.5 or 5 as their score in a category, it's a validation from a professional, confirming that the songs are of the highest level and show strong potential in the ultra-competitive music industry.
To really raise the bar, every artist should work hard to earn a 4.5 or 5 in every category.
It's a very competitive business and people averaging in the 3's (or less) will probably not get too far without a great deal of improvement and development.
I don't give out 4's and 5's easily, so any of those you see, you have earned. Well done!
One thing to keep in mind, at least for your songs designated as "Singles" (the songs geared towards winning over radio stations, record company executives and music publishers) - try to keep Intros under 10 seconds and try to reach the Chorus between the 40 and 43 second mark. This is very important in the following genres: pop, rock,
alternative, punk and singer/songwriter
If it's 44 seconds or longer into a song and the Chorus did not kick in yet, you should edit the arrangement accordingly.
In rap music, the chorus can come in at the 55 to 59 second mark, since the verses are traditionally longer,
compared to the other genres of popular music.
Radio, Record Company and Music Publishing executives pay close attention to song arrangement, as they decide if an artist is developed enough for them to show interest. - Foley Entertainment, Inc.

Q. What has been your greatest experience so far either individually or as a whole?
From time to develop our first EP called "Discordia" which means for us a major step in our musical career in addition to good acceptance that we have in all places where we performance and also one of the best things is to tread on large stages and share it with bands from our country of great national and international recognition, these are our greatest experiences so far.
Q. Do you have any upcoming events or news you would like to tell our readers about?
At the moment, as we´d mentioned we´re working on what will be our next LP and in November we´ll be participating in a festival called "Rockeando" which brings together the best bands in the independent music scene of our country and this festival is held every year in our state, Michoacan.
Q. Where do you see yourselves or hope to be in about 5 years?
We hope with several recorded albums and touring the world with our music, which is precisely what we choose to be musicians, to present our music wherever we can get.

*What's the meaning behind the band's name?
Well, basically we chose the name because we wanted something easy to remember and at the same time a name wich would represent a huge strength, in addition to sound right up street guide, so we chose the name of Conspiracion Urbana which means “Urban Conspiracy”… Sounds huge, dark and powerful

Bio
Conspiracion Urbana was founded in January 2008 in Michoacan, Mexico starting with the idea of Psycho Monkey and Mad who wanted to form a solid and serious project and little by little they were joining the other band members Merrick, Majo and T-800 in that order.
The main idea of the band was focus over the Rock-Industrial and besides adding a bit of alternative music and all this with some Gothic touches. And so the band began to make their first songs with 2 guitars, bass, drumkit and keyboard.
The band is known for their music same we could considered quite versatile as the songs are very danceable rhythms and to other quieter songs with depressing and nostalgic melodies and lyrics that the band always tries to provide thoughtful and thorough content which sometimes like the fans and they really enjoy it.
Besides offering great music, the band also concerned about the visual approach ranging from the clothes wear by the band, makeup, and move around the stage, is to always make an impact audio-visual to the public because for the band 2 points are very important to be a good group and they are: Good music and a good look.
Right now the band is promoting their first musical production called "Discordia" released on April 2010, "Discordia" is an EP containing 7 songs and give us a taste of the band's potential featuring songs ranging musical styles we have discussed above, it has a whole complete range of styles and with this EP we've got into the taste of many people who are involved in a multitude of styles derived of rock.
The band's had several presentations around the country and performanced in venues ranging from small bars through large venues, sharing shows with national bands highly regarded both domestically and internationally.
Within the biggest shows we've been to we can mention a couple of festivals held every year in Mexico and are named "Rockachon" and "Rockeando" which are music festivals which bring together national bands most representative independent music. Some of the bands representing the country with whom we shared the stage and which have a large national and international recognition are: Arcadia Libre, Here Comes The Kraken, Thell Barrio and Logan, to name a few.
Fortunately for the band wherever they present are always playing very well received, Conspiracion Urbana's music is intense, is easy listening and talks about diverse topics which everyone can identify at least with a couple of songs and enjoy them the most.
Conspiracion Urbana is currently seeking opportunities to continue playing within the country and in other countries besides of distribute their music. In addition, the band is working on new songs that will be those of their next LP and have also plans for a pair of professional-quality videos to go with the promotion, so the band is constantly updating, improving their music, the quality of shows the aspect that they intend to present to the fans and all about the band is in constant motion.
Likewise, the band has appeared in several newspaper articles, blogs, ezines, radio stations, etc. as www.subexistance.com, Mexicore.blogspot.com, Maximum Threshold, Vents Magazine, AJ & DBS Talent Professional Developers & Management Marketing and more.
