"The instant they began playing, the crowd burst into dancing, and for good reason. Bassist Lexi Steinweg-Woods was slapping the funk right out of her strings, while whipping about her waist length dreads like a flailing morning star. Those who weren't taking part in dance were busy melting to the floor at the serenade of lead singer V's powerful voice. Colorphases' style can be related directly to their name; almost infinite possibility depending on what mood or style they feel." - The Emmie Magazine

"At this rate, Colorphase will be playing stadiums in a few years." - Journal and Courier (Lafayette,IN)

Bio
Colorphase is an up and coming rock group straight from the underground college scene. Having built a loyal fan base from basement shows and house parties, their rock n’ roll-soul music is starting to make some serious noise in the Midwest. Colorphase has played with nationally touring acts such as The Trews, Shinobi Ninja, The Melismatics, Natty Nation and Mr. Gnome. They have been featured on a number of radio shows, with their song “Deathstar” maintaining a spot as one of the top five most requested songs on a popular college radio station featuring unsigned bands. Local Madison alternative newspaper The Isthmus said, “Colorphase knows how to put on a show; they bring a raw energy to their live performance that is refreshing and exciting."
