Coleman Road

Coleman Road is a new band comprised of young talents from around Atlanta. They all met at the Georgia State University School of Music in 2009, while sitting bored in a music theory class. As they became acquainted, they struck up a chemistry and began writing music together. Annette and John started as a duo, writing songs in between their classical music classes (writing the kind of music they wanted to play). As they started to create songs, they realized they needed more to their sound. The two asked the others to play along, and the band was formed. They have been playing shows around Atlanta and have since been gaining fans and fame as a new band.

Coleman Road's music has ties to Folk, Blues, Country, and Rock n' Roll. Their influences include Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Ponderosa, Little Big Town, Ray LaMontagne, Michael Bublé, Jonny Lang, Elvis Presley, Tom Petty, Garth Brooks, Billy Joel, Train, Tim McGraw, Nickel Creek, The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin.
