No bells and whistles from Coerce, just a collection
of hard rock that sure appears FM friendly. The first track, "The
Roulette", simply knocks it out of the park with slick vocals and
dynamite guitar work! The other clear cut highlight is "Mid Winter", a
song packed with stellar axe work, again. All in all, Coerce bangs out
a rock Ep presenting quality recordings and a rhythmic force to be
reckoned with.

Coerce is an indie/alternative Hard rock band, formed in late 2009, and based out of New York City. Comprised of three members, this band truely has it's own sound. Taking influence by artists in the same vein as Deftones, Thrice, Dredg and Glassjaw, Coerce has developed a signature style of play that brings together catchy driving guitar, strong bass lines, high energy drum work,lead guitar,ambience, and powerful vocals, They're sound is catching on like fire, and has already won them over a mature following in the Tri state area.
Coerce finished with the recording of their first release, a 6 track ep/demo"This sunset in black and white" Coerce hit the ny scene in mid-2010, and has been gaining momentum ever since. With each show they gain more fans and industry buzz. Coerce recently finished there new single called "The Roulette" and will be shooting a video in 2011, in addition to an upcoming collaborative project with artist/engineer "KNS"
